'Let me heal your brokenness. It is time for my child to come unbroken.'

Psalms 34:17‭-‬20 NLT

The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. 

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. 

The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.

For the Lord protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken!

Psalms 147:3‭-‬4 NLT

He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. He counts the stars and calls them all by name.

Isaiah 61:1‭-‬3 NLT

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. 

He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord ’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.

Psalms 7:9‭-‬11 NLT 

End the evil of those who are wicked, and defend the righteous. For you look deep within the mind and heart, O righteous God.

God is my shield, saving those whose hearts are true and right.

God is an honest judge. He is angry with the wicked every day. 

Psalms 73:25 TPT

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

Psalms 27:2‭-‬3 TPT

When evil ones come to destroy me, they will be the ones who turn back. My heart will not be afraid even if an army rises to attack. I know that you are there for me, so I will not be shaken.

What do people really get for all their hard work?

I have seen the burden God has placed on us all. 

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. 

So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can.

And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labour, for these are gifts from God. 

And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him. 

What is happening now has happened before, and what will happen in the future has happened before, because God makes the same things happen over and over again.

Hebrews 4:12 AMP

For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.

God, everyone sees your goodness, for your tender love is blended into everything you do.

So rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!
